Lena Eliasson

Sweden • Orienteering, Running

Lena grew up with athletics as commonplace and, in her youth, participated in eight different sports. Her professional career culminated in being awarded three bronze medals in the World Orienteering Championships.

At the age of 27, Lena suffered inexplicable intracranial hemorrhaging. Today, she once again participates in professional athletics, both within orienteering and running, but mainly for enjoyment and personal well-being. Lena does not consider there to be any limitations to her running, which resulted in her seriously committing to half and full marathons in 2014.
