Penalty School

Penalty Shot 1 Rasmus

Before you take a penalty shot, practice at least two to three different variations for taking a penalty shots so your moves don't get too predictable when facing the opposing goalie.

Rasmus will show you a penalty shot with two built on variations enabling you to change your shot direction at the last second if the goalie is camping out on the side you were planning to shoot the ball.

Remember do not run at full speed when approaching the goalie during a penalty shot. You may lose control of ball completely or not have enough control of the ball to execute the desired shot.

Rasmus will either start with the ball way out left towards the left side goalpost. He will then do a quick toe drag and move the ball to the far right side and shoot the ball in the goal.

Penalty Shot 1 Danne

Before you take a penalty shot, practice at least two to three different variations for taking a penalty shots so your moves don't get too predictable when facing the opposing goalie. Danne will show you a penalty shot with a zorro move.

Remember do not run at full speed when approaching the goalie during a penalty shot. You may lose control of ball completely or not have enough control of the ball to execute the desired shot. 

Danne will progressively move the goalie towards the left goalpost in order to create space to do his move. If the goalie is not moving with him then he can take an easy shot, but in this case Danne will do a quick zorro move to the far right side and throw in the ball in the goal.

Penalty Shot 2 Danne

Before you take a penalty shot, practice at least two to three different variations for taking a penalty shots so your moves don't get too predictable when facing the opposing goalie.

This penalty shot is shown in order show that with some creativity and thinking outside the box there is an endless number of variations to do penalty shots. Danne lifts the ball up and moves the ball forward for a zorro action. Remember that the ball is not allowed to be move backward.

Penalty Shot 3 Danne

Before you take a penalty shot, practice at least two to three different variations for taking a penalty shots so your moves don't get too predictable when facing the opposing goalie.

Remember do not run at full speed when approaching the goalie during a penalty shot. You may lose control of ball completely or not have enough control of the ball to execute the desired shot. 

Danne will progressively move his body and the ball way out right towards the right side goalpost. He will then do a quick long stick handling action moving the ball to the far left side in order to find the open space in the far left corner.

Fredrik will show you a penalty shot with four built on variations enabling you to change your shot direction at the last second if the goalie is camping out on the side you were planning to shoot the ball. Then Fredrik will "mirror" the penalty shot giving you another penalty shot with four built on variations.

Remember do not run at full speed when approaching the goalie during a penalty shot. You may lose control of ball completely or not have enough control of the ball to execute the desired shot. 


Fredrik will either start way out to the left or to the right. If the goalie is misplaced and is not covering the first pole well enough then shoot a forehand wrister or a backhand Sweeper.

Fredrik will show you a penalty shot with four built on variations enabling you to change your shot direction at the last second if the goalie is camping out on the side you were planning to shoot the ball. Then Fredrik will "mirror" the penalty shot giving you another penalty shot with four built on variations.

Fredrik will show you a penalty shot with four built on variations enabling you to change your shot direction at the last second if the goalie is camping out on the side you were planning to shoot the ball. Then Fredrik will "mirror" the penalty shot giving you another penalty shot with four built on variations.

Fredrik will either start way out to the left or to the right. Variation number three - if the goalie is covering the first pole well, stick handling the ball far to the other side and then back again.

The goalie will most likely have moved far enough to the other side leaving you some space to place the ball in the net.

Penalty School 4

Before you take a penalty shot, practice at least two different methods for taking a penalty shots so your moves don't get too predictable when facing the opposing goalie. 

Fredrik will show you a penalty shot with four built on variations enabling you to change your shot direction at the last second if the goalie is camping out on the side you were planning to shoot the ball. Then Fredrik will "mirror" the penalty shot giving you another penalty shot with four built on variations.

Fredrik will either start way out to the left or to the right. Variation four - same start as in the other three penalty shots - however in this case the first stick handling to the other side should be much shorter and then followed with two longer stick handling moves to get the goalie out of balance.

Fredrik then mirror the 360 Spin feint. It is useful to be able to be able to do the 360 Spin from both sides depending on what side you need to deke the defender.
